InvestIN Education is a dynamic, educational start-up that provides inspirational career experience programmes for school students, across 20+ different industries. Founded in 2012, InvestIN’s mission is to bridge the gap between school and the workplace, in order to help students choose the right career and maximise their potential.

InvestIN creates the ‘ultimate career experience’ through a combination of interactive simulations, site visits, seminars, networking sessions and career coaching, led by highly accomplished industry professionals. We have had over 50,000 students attend our online and in-person programmes, from 100+ countries and 4,000+ schools with more than 1,000 of these being InvestIN Partner Schools. This is a free initiative for schools that have an affiliation with our mission and want to work with us more closely, having a dedicated member of the Partner Development Team who supports them in sharing information about our programmes and enhancing their careers programme.

About the role

InvestIN’s relationships with schools are absolutely fundamental to the success of our organisation. A Partner Development Associate is a school’s first point of contact. They must exude InvestIN’s values and be able to create a strong relationship of trust, encouraging teachers to recommend InvestIN. In order for teachers to share our opportunities with their students, they must have the utmost faith in our ability to transform their students’ lives with first-class experiences and trust that we go above and beyond in our mission.

You will be given a list of schools and colleges and expected to build relationships with them, and be able to demonstrate how you have contributed to their increase in student attendance numbers.

The role of the Partner Development Associate is to:

Build lasting relationships with key decision makers, so as to increase the number of students that attend our programmes from your list of schools, including both:

    1. Maintaining existing relationships
    2. Actively seeking out new contacts and developing brand new relationships; taking the school from a cold relationship to InvestIN Partner School

    Go above and beyond in the means by which you maintain those relationships including through the following:

    • Meetings/calls (virtual and in-person)
    • Developing and delivering regular presentations both virtually and in schools for students and parents
    • Representing InvestIN at events including careers fairs and educational conferences
    • Researching trends or developments within the education sphere, to create engaging thought leadership (including termly newsletters, free careers content and webinars)
    • Collaborating as a team to find ways to constantly improve our service to teachers and schools
    • Being your schools’ first point-of-call for any queries via phone and email
    • Administer group bookings, invoices, bursary applications, using CRM software
    • During school holidays, support the Programme Management and Operations Teams with the organisation and delivery of our programmes

    • A strong work ethic
    • Educated to degree/apprenticeship level
    • Some professional experience which is relevant to the skills required for this role

    • A passion for education and the futures of young people
    • Outstanding interpersonal and professional communication skills – both written and oral
    • An affinity for public speaking and presenting, adapting your approach to different audiences

    • Self-motivated and driven by individual KPIs with the aim of increasing the number of students who attend our programmes and thereby contribute to the growth of InvestIN

    Working schedule: 9am – 5pm (flexi-hours), Monday – Friday. Some weekend work may be required, but you will know dates for this well in advance, and be given time off in lieu during the weekdays

    Location: Hybrid working with 2 days in our central London office and 3 days from home. You can also expect to travel around the UK in order to attend meetings and deliver presentations in schools.

    Start date: early-mid August, though we will be flexible for the right candidate

    Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum depending on prior experience
